Impulse Travel is inviting guests to take a cultural trip and soak into Colombia’s musical diversity on Thursday, June 11th with Sounds of Colombia.
Gregorio Uribe, who will be hosting and serving as the music curator of the event, is a Colombian songwriter, accordion player and singer, who in 2017 was dubbed as an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Billboard . He will be guiding guests through a 90-minute journey composed of an array of Colombian musical rhythms that will drive the narrative as ‘virtual visitors’ get a close up of local communities that are welcoming all to indulge in the cultural richness of the country’s musical heritage.
Open to travel professionals, cultural institutions, sustainable travel advocates and people who are interested in musical heritage and travel, the free event will showcase the main experiences, people and places that make Sounds of Colombia a trip worth taking from home.
