Latino culture is complex, because though many put all aspects of the culture in a box, the customs, foods and traditions of each country vary. Some of the members of the cast of Gentefied stopped by Miami to talk about the important topics within the Netflix Series that has everyone talking.
A Mexican American family in California tries to maintain the Central American Country’s traditions, while adapting to American customs and ways of life. Various important topics that are still taboo in many Latino homes are touched upon in Gentefied, such as gay relationships, intercultural education, underpaid jobs and the struggles of surviving for a low income neighborhood.
