**F L O W ~**When we find ourselves in the chaos, the storm, or the hurricane, it’s hard to see the end—but the end always comes.Knowing this, I’ve learned to flow within the storm and to GIVE THANKS for it. ⛈️When you understand that the storm has a purpose—cleansing, healing, and Mother Nature doing her work—you realize that dark clouds, thunder, and even the mess left behind are opportunities for growth, courage, and faith.Material things come and go, and while it’s tough to let go of what we’ve worked so hard for, these things are temporary. What remains constant is the opportunity to witness and respond to nature’s expression, her rage, and her healing. We must ask, “How can I help?” • How can I help you recover? • How can I help my community heal? • How can I use this dark moment to go with the flow and be of service to those who need me?Today, I choose to pray for those healing from the storms of last week, for those going through personal storms, and I give thanks. This is my chance to nurture, to connect with nature, and to listen to what she’s trying to tell us.I’m listening.I’m praying.I’m giving thanks.Storms come and go, but the opportunity to awaken, to seek meaning, and to grow is a gift. Let’s embrace it. Yesterday I took a trip all the way to #Whitstable

Yesterday I took a trip all the way to #Whitstable with friends and family, to have a ‘Cubano,’ one of @la_cocina_whitstable signature menu items. It’s legit a Cuban sandwich with the pork prepared for over 12 hrs, the ham, the pickles, and English mustard 🤤. Matthew, the owner, learned how to cook Latin food while living in Miami for more than 30 years - a super coincidence when we met and I told him that’s where I’m from! In December 2019, he moved back to his hometown, Whitstable, with his family (his lovely Dominican wife and three kids) and they’re bringing Latin food to the Brits and especially to those living in this town. I hope they know how lucky they are to be able to just walk over to Matthew’s spot for a sandwich and tres leches. We drove over an hour and a half to have some, but for some genuine and well-made Latin food (something difficult to find in the UK), we’re willing to do it over and over again! 🙌🏼 We picked up a few sandwiches and desserts, and we enjoyed them on some benches near the beach. #ElCubano #LaCocina #CBtalksFOOD #EnglishTown #HappySunday
