What an affiliate link is
If I link to something I am wearing, using or recommending, that link sometimes carries a code that tells the shop you arrived from here. If you then buy, I may earn a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same. You are never charged more for arriving through me.
Where you will find them
Mostly in the Shop the Look panel beside a letter, and in the strip underneath it. Affiliate links are marked in the page itself as sponsored, and the panel says in plain words that some of them earn a commission.
What it does not change
I write about things I actually use and places I have actually been. A commission does not buy a mention, a recommendation, or a kind word. If I stopped liking something I would say so, and if I am writing about something because a brand paid for it rather than because I chose it, that is a paid partnership and it is labelled as one at the top of the piece, not hidden down here.
Gifted items and paid partnerships
Sometimes a brand sends me something, or pays for a piece of work. When that happens the letter says so clearly, at the start, whether or not I liked what they sent.
