As part of a trilogy, which began with his first official album titled, Navegando, Latin Grammy award winner Mike Bahia has dropped the second part while promising that the project is sure to spark joy and a cheery mood to listeners – he named it Contento.
During the beginning of the pandemic, while the world was at a pause and everyone was tucked at home – with many struggling with feeling any type of hope or joy – the winner of the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2020, shared a song that expressed his gratefulness for the small things such as being able to see the sun, and that’s how “Cuenta Conmigo,” a collaboration between Mike, Llane, Mozart La Para and PJ Sin Suela came out.
“This album was created using some good energy and with the best company,” said Mike.
With a mix of reggae and pop, along with stellar collaborations from artists such as Blessd, Beéle, Andy Rivera, Maxiolly, Ir Sais and Stanley Jackson, and keen production by Sky (J Balvin, Bad Bunny and Nicky Jam), Cauty (Guaynaa, Farruko and Ñejo), Andrés Torres, MauricioRengifo (Luis Fonsi, Yatra) and Juan Pablo Vega (Manuel Medrano as well as Ximena Sariñana) within others, Bahia presented Contento.
To celebrate the release of his album, Mike hosted an array of close friends, media and press in a Miami venue, to listen to him play the songs from his new album, live.
Contento is now available for streaming on an array of digital platforms.
