Traffic, the convention center and concerns over development continue to dominate discussions by candidates running for Miami Beach commission.
The Miami Beach Bar Association and the Miami Beach Latin Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidates forum Tuesday at the National Hotel on Collins Avenue. Neither organization plans on endorsing candidates.
Candidates included:
Group 4: Kristen Rosen Gonzalez, Scott Diffenderfer, Michael DeFilippi, Jonathan Parker, Betsy Perez and Isaiah Mosley
Group 5: Ricky Arriola and Mark Weithorn
Group 6: Mark Samuelian and John Elizabeth Alemán
Eliott Rodriguez, news anchor of Channel 4, moderated the forum, which included topics such as traffic congestion, a new convention center and headquarter hotel, and business and home development.
